A Bioethical Perspective on the Devastation of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico
Alex decided to join the LMU Bioethics community after completing his bachelors in physiology at UCLA in 2016. Learning about the latest groundbreaking biotechnology and medical procedures sparked his
interest in exploring the ethical consequences these profound advancements could have on society. In addition to attending the Bioethics Institute, Alex serves as the graduate assistant for both LMU's Student Psychological Services and Student Health Services. After completing his degree in Bioethics, he plans on pursuing a medical degree and practicing psychiatry. His dream is to draw upon his experience in Bioethics and medicine to effect positive change in America's health care system.
